Summer Events at Dollywood
Here are the seasonal events you can experience at Dollywood this summer.
From June 22 to Aug. 4, celebrate summer at Dollywood. This is the perfect opportunity to make memories with family and friends at the park. Enjoy summertime events, extended park hours, summer entertainment and evening fireworks.
Summer Feels…, one of the entertaining shows during the Summer Celebration, showcases 10 performers and six world-class musicians who will take audiences on a musical journey through time. Then, stick around for Dolly’s Nights of Many Colors. This spectacular nightly fireworks display is synchronized to music each night of the Summer Celebration. The fireworks show can be viewed all across the park.
The Little Engine Playhouse
Starting June 14 until Aug. 4, The Little Engine Playhouse will bring three children’s books to life on stage. These delightful, 20-minute sing-along musicals are perfect for all ages. Laugh and sing with your little ones to performances based on the books: “Coat of Many Colors,” “Stand Tall Molly Lou Melon” and “The Little Engine that Could.”
New Faces of Country
Meet country music’s next up-and-coming artists from June 27–Aug. 1 during New Faces of Country. This concert series gives artists a chance for their big breaks, right here at Dollywood.
Thrills in the Hills
Visit Dollywood July 12–13 to celebrate the 11th annual Thrills in the Hills. This event is a great way to gain a behind-the-scenes look at the theme park’s rides. Learn what makes some of Dollywood’s attractions work and enjoy an exclusive ride time. Guests can also indulge in the park’s food offerings. Every attendee will receive a free T-shirt and more freebies, along with free event parking.
Head to Dollywood’s Robert F. Thomas Chapel, located in Craftsman’s Valley, on Aug. 4 for Sunday Sing. This seventh-annual event features a 45-minute service of traditional hymns. Service begins at 11:30 a.m.
Rock the Smokies
Save the date for Dollywood’s Christian Music Festival on Aug. 24. Rock the Smokies will feature a different kind of worship music, powerful Christian rock. The festival features a number of exciting acts, including For King & Country and Zach Williams.
Visit Dollywood’s Splash Country
If you’re looking to beat the heat, visit Dollywood’s Splash Country. Cool down at this mountain water park with exciting water rides, slides and attractions. Splash Country has something for all ages, including a water play area for toddlers and loungers for parents.
