Gatlinburg Trolley Ride of Lights

The Gatlinburg Parkway is illuminated with the glow of the holiday season during the Gatlinburg Trolley Ride of Lights. From Nov. through Jan., take a comfortable ride on the Gatlinburg Trolley and view the dazzling light displays. Riders will travel through downtown Gatlinburg as a costumed storyteller guides you along the way.

Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade

On Dec. 6, 2024 make your way to downtown Gatlinburg for the Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade. This annual event features a festive holiday parade with balloons, floats, local marching bands and, of course, Santa, making their way down the Parkway.

New Year’s Eve Ball Drop and Fireworks

Ring in the New Year against the backdrop of the Gatlinburg Space Needle. This free, family-friendly New Year’s Eve event will include live entertainment, fireworks and activities at some of your favorite downtown Gatlinburg establishments.

Ober Mountain in Gatlinburg

There’s no better place to spend winter than Ober Mountain. This is one of the state’s best destinations for skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and more winter activities. Ober Mountain has slopes perfect for beginners and more advanced skiers and snowboarders who are looking for a challenge.
