About Smoky Mountain Brewery

Smoky Mountain Brewery is the oldest craft brewery in eastern Tennessee. The restaurant first opened in 1996, with a location on the Gatlinburg Parkway, aiming to serve fresh, local microbrews. While the idea was initially met with some hesitation, as the craft beer movement started to grow in the United States, Smoky Mountain Brewery remained ahead of the curve. The company had spent years developing their own recipes to offer a unique craft beer experience.

Now, the brewery has four thriving locations in east Tennessee, including the original Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Knoxville and Maryville. Though it’s grown in success, Smoky Mountain Brewery is still focused on serving beers that are special to the mountain region.
