Pigeon Forge offers plenty when it comes to entertainment, especially dinner theater shows. Whether it’s The Comedy Barn, Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud or the Smoky Mountain Opry, there are a range of shows that include a multiple-course meal. Dolly Parton’s company is adding another exciting show to its Pigeon Forge lineup. The Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show is coming to Pigeon Forge May 2019.
About Pirates Voyage
Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show invites you to join Captain Blackbeard and Calico Jack as they lead the Crimson and Sapphire pirate crews in a battle for lost treasure. The pirates will brawl on land, on the deck, in the water and high above in full-sized pirate ships.
The show has been running successfully in Myrtle Beach, S.C. for over a decade, but now it’s making its way to Pigeon Forge.
In a statement, Dolly Parton said, “The show has been so successful in Myrtle Beach that we kept looking at Pigeon Forge and wondering why we didn’t already have a pirates show there.”
Parton, a Smoky Mountain native, has several shows in Pigeon Forge already.
“We have the perfect location, in one of the hottest areas of Pigeon Forge,” Parton said. “The time is now for my pirates to stake claim to the Great Smoky Mountains.”
Pirates Voyage Dinner Menu
As you watch the spectacle on stage and all around you, enjoy a four-course pirates feast.
Start with the creamy vegetable soup, known as Voyager soup, and bread. For the main course, you’ll have half of a roasted chicken, barbecue pork, buttery corn on the cob and an herb-based potato. Finish your meal with a slice of apple pie.
Vegetarian and gluten-free meals are available by request. If you have any dietary restrictions, please mention them at the time of your reservation.
Things to Do before Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show
Arrive early for family-friendly activities at the Pirates Village. Enjoy pirate-themed beverages and snacks while you wait. Children will love meeting Captain Blackbeard and his crew after getting their faces painted. Your child can be transformed into a pirate themselves, or a mermaid, with face paint and costumes.
Visit the gift shop to purchase a piece of treasure that Blackbeard himself would be jealous over. Find handcrafted pirate ships, sculptures of ceramic mermaids, T-shirts, toys, swords and more.
Pirates Voyage Tickets
Choose your side, Crimson pirates or Sapphire pirates, when you purchase your tickets. Seating options are regular and preferred on both halves of the theater.
