The month of December is full of fun and exciting events all across the Tennessee Smokies, from Sevierville to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Whether you’re searching for family-friendly events, food and drink events, live music or free festivals, you’ll have plenty of options to choose. Ongoing- March 1: Tennessee Songwriters Week Regional Showcase

Celebrating the home-grown talent in East Tennessee, Ole Red Gatlinburg will serve as the venue for the Tennessee Songwriters Week Regional Showcase. 15 Artists who have surpassed Qualifying Rounds will showcase their talent live on the Ole Red stage. The winner of the Showcase will advance for a chance to perform at the legendary Bluebird Café in Nashville, Tennessee.

March 2: Chuck Wagon Cook-off Weekend Competition

This 3-day event (Feb 28-March 2) includes an intimate dinner concert, cowboy church and our annual cook-off competition! The Chuck Wagon Cook Off is at the Clabough’s Campground & RV Park. MORE INFO!

March 6-8: The Winter Carnival of Magic

The Winter Carnival of Magic has brought some of the greatest magicians to East Tennessee such as Jeff McBride, Oscar Muñoz, Pop Haydn, Losander, Joshua Jay, The Pendragons, Aldo Columbini, Arthur Trace, Terry Evanswood, Duane Laflin, Gene Anderson, Shawn Farquhar, and a long list of others.

March 14-April 13: I Will Always Love You Celebration

Celebrateof one of Dolly’s biggest hits, I Will Always Love You, during the all-new I Will Always Love You Celebration taking place March 14-April 13, 2025. This festive event kicks off the season commemorating the art of songwriting and the stories behind the songs. In addition to honoring Dolly’s iconic status as a songwriter, the event will recognize a number of noted and up-and-coming singers/songwriters with performances throughout the park. Look for special park décor and delicious culinary offerings as we celebrate this momentous occasion.

March 13-15: Corvette Expo

Car Show • Swap Meet • Car Corral. Show and swap meet inside and outside at the LeConte Center at the 2025 Corvette Expo. Corvette Park-n-Show and Corvettes Cruise the Dragon.

March 17: St. Patrick’s Day at the Island

Enjoy St. Paddy’s Day at The Island on Friday, March 17! The whole Island will be lit up green so you can celebrate with fun festivities all day long! You can expect live entertainment throughout the day. And, what’s St. Paddy’s Day without festive drinks and good eats? Grab a pint of Beer at Yee-Haw Brewing Co. and enjoy fun Irish-themed fare at Timberwood Grill and Mellow Mushroom!

March 18-23: Great Smoky Easter Arts & Crafts Show

Held from 10am-5pm at the Gatlinburg Convention Center, the Great Smoky Eater Arts & Crafts Show will feature unique handcrafted gifts produced by members of Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community. All will be placed on display and offered for sale as they host their annual Easter show at the Gatlinburg Convention Center. Demonstrations are part of the show.
