The month of December is full of fun and exciting events all across the Tennessee Smokies, from Sevierville to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Whether you’re searching for family-friendly events, food and drink events, live music or free festivals, you’ll have plenty of options to choose. March 6-8: Chuck Wagon Cook-off Weekend Competition

This 3-day event (March 6-8) includes an intimate dinner concert, cowboy church and our annual cook-off competition! The Chuck Wagon Cook Off is at the Clabough’s Campground & RV Park. MORE INFO!

March 13: Dollywood Opening Day!

Dollywood opens for the 2026 season on March 13, 2026! At Dollywood we celebrate the best of life as we light up the Smokies with rides, slides, music, food and laughter – day and night. We invite you to our Tennessee home where you can hold on tight to those you love most in the great outdoors in each beautiful season of the year. Start planning your visit now!

March 13-April 12: I Will Always Love You Celebration

Celebrate one of one of Dolly’s biggest hits, I Will Always Love You, during the I Will Always Love You Celebration taking place March 13-April 12, 2026. This festive event kicks off the season commemorating the art of songwriting and the stories behind the songs. In addition to honoring Dolly’s iconic status as a songwriter, the event will recognize a number of noted and up-and-coming singers/songwriters with performances throughout the park. Look for special park décor and delicious culinary offerings as we celebrate this momentous occasion.

March 14: Gatlinburg Smoky Mountain Wine Fest

On March 14, 2026, the Gatlinburg Smoky Mountain Wine Fest returns to the historic Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts. This premier event features tastings from over 10 regional wineries, gourmet pairings from top local restaurants, and live music. Attendees can enjoy artisan demonstrations, purchase handcrafted goods, and shop for their favorite bottles. Tickets are limited for this immersive celebration of Tennessee’s vibrant wine, food, and craft scene in downtown Gatlinburg.

March 19-21: Corvette Expo-Chevys in the Smokies

This annual Corvette Expo-Chevys in the Smokies event brings together Corvettes and Chevy enthusiasts into the Pigeon Forge area. The growth and interest have prompted this to now be a 3-day show! It offers Vendors, Swap Meet, Sales Corral, Show Cars, (from just Park N Show or you can register to be a part of the judged completion). We have 100,000 square feet inside the LeConte Event Center filled with show cars and vendors.  The outside portion is held in the upper parking lot (Mountain Lot) across the street. 

March 10-15: Great Smoky Easter Arts & Crafts Show

Held from 10am-5pm at the Gatlinburg Convention Center, the Great Smoky Eater Arts & Crafts Show will feature unique handcrafted gifts produced by members of Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community. All will be placed on display and offered for sale as they host their annual Easter show at the Gatlinburg Convention Center. Demonstrations are part of the show.
