Gatlinburg, and the entire Tennessee Smokies area, is brimming with talented craftspeople. A region of designers and creators, these craftspeople are celebrated through a number of local events and markets. These allow the craftspeople to not only show off their goods, but also sell them to shoppers looking for a one-of-a-kind find. In the market for a new, unique item, find it at the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair July 7-16, 2023.
About the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair
The bi-annual Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair brings artisans and craftspeople from around the country to the 150,000-square-foot Gatlinburg Convention Center. Shoppers can browse over 200 booths where these craftspeople will display their handmade products and demonstrate their skills.
All items at the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair have been created without duplication, meaning you’re truly getting a one-of-a-kind product. Find pottery, copper art, local candy makers, leather works and much more.
Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair Activities
In addition to browsing, everyone will enjoy the daily live musical performances. Head to the stage area for contemporary country, bluegrass and gospel music at noon and 3 p.m.
Fun for the whole family, the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair will also feature a Kid’s Corner. Children of all ages will enjoy creating their own crafts to take home.
Concessions will also be available to purchase through the Gatlinburg Convention Center.

Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair Tickets
Daily tickets to the 2023 Summer Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair can be purchased at the Craftsmen’s Fair office within the Convention Center, located at the end of aisle 600.
More Information about the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair
The 2023 Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair takes place July 7-16, from 10 a.m.–6 p.m., then 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on Sunday.
Those in town for the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair should consider booking a hotel room near the Gatlinburg Convention Center. There are plenty of hotels in downtown Gatlinburg that are located on or near the parkway, and just a short walk to the Convention Center.
There are also a number of fantastic restaurants in Gatlinburg just a walk or trolley ride away from the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair.
