July 4: Pigeon Forge Patriot Festival
There are a number of events happening on July 4 in the Tennessee Smokies. Among those is the Patriot Festival in Pigeon Forge. This free, family-friendly Fourth of July celebration features a children’s carnival, food and, of course, fireworks. Enjoy live music throughout the day, then watch the sky light up with a fantastic firework display.

July 12–13: Thrills in the Hills
Visit Dollywood to celebrate the 11th annual Thrills in the Hills. This event is a great way to gain a behind-the-scenes look at the theme park’s rides. Learn what makes some of Dollywood’s attractions work and enjoy an exclusive ride time. Guests can also indulge in the park’s food offerings.
July 13–14: Sevierville City Golf Championships
Spend a day on the links at the Sevierville City Golf Championship. This two-day event will consist of 36 holes, both on the river and on the highlands, at Sevierville Golf Club. Golfers can register online now. Admission includes a practice round, two tournament rounds, range balls, a tee gift and prizes.
July 12–21: Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair
Don’t miss the summer edition of the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair. Held at the Gatlinburg Convention Center, this event brings over 200 booths featuring one-of-a-kind handmade products. These skilled artisans will demonstrate their talents to attendees. Kids can enjoy the do-it-yourself crafts.
