Get the best view of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park as you travel 1,800 feet in the air! First comes an exhilarating ride aboard the Gatlinburg Sky Lift. Have a souvenir photo taken to commemorate your experience. At the top, you’ll witness Gatlinburg’s most popular scenic overlook.
Located at the top of the iconic SkyLift, the Gatlinburg SkyBridge is the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America and the most spectacular experience in the Smokies.
From the mountain-top SkyDeck, the SkyBridge quite literally crosses the sky as it stretches 680 feet across a deep valley in a single span. Guests can walk across at their own pace, taking in the panoramic views and enjoying the spectacular setting before walking back when they’re ready. With a height of 150 feet at its midpoint, the SkyBridge is an incredible but easily attainable experience you’ll remember for a lifetime – especially as you cross the glass-floor panels in the middle of the span. Plus, we doubled the glass panels to provide 30 feet of excitement!
A Mountaintop Rest Area
The SkyCenter is located on the SkyDeck at the top of Crockett Mountain at the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park, overlooking the town with sweeping panoramic views into Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
First, make sure to snag your souvenir photo. The iconic photo in the yellow SkyLift chair is a tradition that dates back to the early 195o’s. Photo sales are located on the first level of the SkyCenter building. The first floor of the SkyCenter also features a gift shop plus a snack bar with pizza, salads, wraps, and ice cream treats, while the second floor boasts an enormous seating area and bar with the finest views you’ll find anywhere in town. Sit inside to cool off on a hot day or outside on the front deck overlooking Gatlinburg — no matter what you choose you’ll find amazing views day or night.
Be sure to stop by the Gift Shop.
