Start your Fourth of July celebration right at midnight with Gatlinburg’s 4th of July Midnight Parade. This free parade goes along the Gatlinburg Parkway and features live music, spectacular floats and more. The parade draws hundreds of thousands of guests each year, making it an event that’s not to be missed.

Race Down the River
During the day, head to the Little Pigeon River for another popular event, the Gatlinburg River Raft Regatta. This competition is free to enter and attend. Watch as unmanned floatable objects cruise down the river. Trophies are awarded for the fastest floats and most creative floats.

End the Night with Fireworks
Head back to downtown Gatlinburg to finish off your Fourth of July with a spectacular firework display. On the Parkway, you can watch a free firework show. The Gatlinburg Fireworks Finale is one of the most popular Fourth of July firework shows in the region.
