Throughout January: Smoky Mountain Winterfest
The Tennessee Smokies region lights up with over five million holiday lights during Smoky Mountain Winterfest. Pigeon Forge, in particular, creates a winter wonderland with dazzling light displays, holiday shows and more. Area attractions also get into the holiday spirit, making the region a must-visit during the holiday season.

Until January 4: Smoky Mountain Christmas
From now until through Jan. 4, Dollywood hosts its Smoky Mountain Christmas, presented by Humana. This family-friendly holiday celebration invites guests from all over to spend their Christmas season at Dollywood. Dollywood will feature an array of traditional Christmas activities and events, including millions of lights around the park, award-winning shows and the 50-foot-tall Christmas tree.

January 25: Ober Rocks 2020
Ober Gatlinburg will host the Ober Rocks throwback event, presented by 103.5 WIMZ. Ski from 8 p.m. to midnight, then when you aren’t on the slopes, head to the Loft Lounge for live music. There will also be a slope-side DJ, competitions and more.

Until January 25: Gatlinburg Trolley Ride of Lights
Take a tour of downtown Gatlinburg’s spectacular light displays aboard the Gatlinburg Trolley Ride of Lights. From now until Jan. 25, take a cozy ride on the Gatlinburg Trolley and ride along the Gatlinburg Parkway, led by a costumed storyteller. Guests will receive a free cup of hot chocolate for their ride.
Until January 31: Skylift Park “Lights Over Gatlinburg”
Get a bird’s-eye view of the dazzling lights around Gatlinburg during Lights Over Gatlinburg at Gatlinburg Skylift Park. Travel up to the SkyDeck where you can take in panoramic views of the area at night. Then, walk across the SkyBridge that has been transformed into a tunnel of lights.
